Owned by a famous football coach, for lovers of abandoned places it is simply known as the coach’s home.
In the middle of the countryside, protected by tall brambles, this abandoned house hides its secrets well.
The structure appears to us as a farmhouse probably built around the middle of the 1800s.
Coach’s house also has a small empty church with pink walls in the garden, silos probably for storing animal feed and other small houses.
The coach’s house tells of all the passion and love for football of its owner.
In fact, its last resident was a well-known coach in the area, who trained mostly children and young people in amateur teams.
But in addition to his love for football, he was also known in the village for his goodness of soul.
It is said that one of his “missions” was to help children with family problems and not only, keeping them away from delinquency thanks to his passion for football.
Its interior is amazing!
Football shirts, balls, shoes and trophies tell a story of dedication.
And inside the coach’s house we also find a trophy dating back to 1995.
On the second floor the bedrooms, still intact and in fairly good condition, house neat beds, armchairs and wardrobes containing clothes.
In short, a good part of the furniture remains inside, although many things have been looted over the years.
We do not know exactly when this villa was abandoned, but a calendar shows the date of 2007.
The reasons for the abandonment are also unclear, but from some papers it seems that the owner was involved in a scam of counterfeit footballs.
The coach’s home is very impressive, and within its walls you can really breathe the life of the people who lived there and tell us a story of passion and true love for football.
